Privacy policy
How BRD Healthcare collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Who we are
BRD Healthcare Ltd (company number 17383606) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number [ICO registration number]. You can contact us at bradley.daniels@brdstaffing.com or on 07703 321072.
What we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect: your name and contact details; your work history, qualifications and professional registration; right to work and identity documents; DBS check results; references; bank, tax and National Insurance details; availability and timesheets; and health information you give us for occupational health purposes. For clients, we collect business contact details and booking information.
Why we use it
We use your information to find you work, check you are safe and eligible to work in health and care settings, pay you, meet our legal duties as an employment business, and respond to client requests. Our lawful bases include taking steps to enter into a contract, legal obligation, and legitimate interests. Where we process health or criminal record information, we do so under the conditions allowed by UK data protection law for employment and safeguarding purposes.
Who we share it with
We share candidate information with clients you may work for, and with trusted suppliers who help us run our business — such as our compliance and payroll systems, DBS umbrella body, website hosting and form provider (Netlify). We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as we need it. In summary: unsuccessful applications for 12 months after our last contact; worker records, references and compliance checks for 6 years after the last assignment; right to work check copies for the length of the engagement plus 2 years; and pay, tax and timesheet records for 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to. We record the outcome of DBS checks rather than keeping copies of certificates. Website form submissions are moved into our records and then deleted from the website platform.
Your rights
You have the right to access your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. To make a request, email bradley.daniels@brdstaffing.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
